Our Feast Day was last March 5, 2009 (1:00-3:00pm)

All of us went to Sitio Fatima (we went there by WALKING, it’s so hot that time). Unfortunately, one of us can’t come with us. Even though, we still went to the place and have our feast day. We started with a prayer (I can’t remember who lead the prayer, my apologies). Then after that, Jean(vice-president) talked to the kids and started the fun. There are a lot of cute little kids there (kids ONLY). Well, as we are doing our presentation, there was some kids who cried(I don’t know why) but I just saw them crying. Some of the kids are shy, some of them are not (that’s true). There are lot of kids that dance and played with us. We have one presentation to the kids where Joanne and Jonald presented. Joanne sings and Jonald played his guitar, I can see the kids like what they presented. Then Jean called Martha(our secretary) to sing a song for the kids. After those presentations, we had a game for the kids called “STOP DANCE”. In this game, the kids will dance while the music is still playing, and when the music stops the kids should stop dancing too, the one who is still dancing will be out of the game. The kids had fun playing with us. Before we end our Feast day at the Sitio Fatima, we told the kids to pick-up all the liters, the one with many liters will get the Bowling toy. A girl won(I can’t remember the name of the kid, my apologies).

That’s our Feast Day,

Thanks for reading

—–my apologies if I forgot some of the parts, I wasn’t able to write all of the happenings.

Christmas Party!

Our Christmas Party was so COOL!

We started by having an Opening Prayer by Joyce Anne Perez.

Our Christmas party started for the families that we’ll share our blessings with. We all waited for the families to come. When they came, we started our presentation to them. Martha and Harold sang a nice song for them. Then Jean asked Ms. Kalaw(our adviser) to have a speech for the family. But before Ms. Kalaw started her speech, she asked some of the class officers to give first some food for the families to eat. After they have given the foods, Ms. Kalaw started her speech, and her speech was nice. We also had a game for the families. The game was called “Hep Hep Hooray!”. At first the families were shy to play but then we pleased them to play. We had fun, and the families sure have fun too because they smiled and laughed with the class. Then Jean said that we had a second presentation. This presentation is by Joanne and Jonald. Joanne sang a song and Jonald plays a guitar. After their presentation, we all go in front of them, and all of the class sang a Christmas song for the family. We hope the families like it. Then the families gave us some inspiring message. The last thing was, we all share the blessing to the families after all of this the families left and have a nice smile on their faces, it’s like their saying they had fun and they like that moment with us.

When the families left the room, Ms. Kalaw had to go to the Faculty Room to fix something. We all waited for her. When she comes, we started our own Christmas party. We started the exchange gifts and Ms. Kalaw was the first one to give her gift. Then after the exchange gifts, Ms. Kalaw gave a speech for us and this was followed by the class officers. When all the officers are done with their speech, we had a fun game. The game was planned by Martha and Mary Rose. All of the class must join this game. We all had fun playing games, Ms. Kalaw was laughing with us while we were playing games. When we are done playing games, Ms. Kalaw and all of the class waited for our food. The food didn’t came on the right time, it came a little bit late. Even though the food was late, we are still happy because at least the food came. We all ate together and finish our food. When we’re done eating, Jean collected the trashes and we ended our party by a closing prayer of Camela. When the party was finished, some stayed in the room to help clean the room.

That was the story of our Christmas Party last December 18, 2008(Thursday) at Canossa Academy in Year 1 – St. Joseph Classroom.
